abstract A glass cleaning composition is disclosed for removing soils and dirt from glass surfaces without leaving a visible streak. The cleaning composition contains an ethylene glycol ether, an N-alkyl pyrrolidone, a surfactant, and water. Optionally the composition can also include a co-solvent, a pH adjusting agent, a dye, a fragrance, and other ingredients that enhances the performance and elegance of the composition. The composition make use of a synergetic effect of combining the ethylene glycol ether, N-alkyl pyrrolidone and surfactant to improve the soil removal performance of the composition while remaining substantially streak-free.
