abstract There are disclosed, a polyether ketone having a primary particle size of 50 μm or less; and a method of producing a polyether ketone by a desalting polycondensation, which contains a step of conducting a polymerization reaction under a condition of deposition of the polymer. The polyether ketone obtained by the present invention has small particle size, high molecular weight and sufficiently small content of impurities such as alkali metal components.
