titleOfInvention Polyamide/polyurethane multilayer structures for decorated articles
abstract The present invention relates to a multilayer structure comprising a transparent polyamide-based layer and a layer based on a thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU). The invention also relates to a decorated article consisting of an object to which the above structure has been bonded, the polyamide layer being on the outside. According to another embodiment, the polyamide/TPU structures may be bonded to a polyurethane foam or to a polyurethane resin. It is also possible to overmould the polyurethane foam or the polyurethane resin to the polyamide/TPU structure placed in a mould, the polyamide layer being adjacent to the mould wall. The structure obtained is useful, for example for making skis or sports shoes. The invention also relates to these structures. Advantageously, the polyamide layer is semicrystalline. Advantageously, the TPU layer is transparent. Each of the layers may be formed from several layers.
