abstract An assembly for delivering optical signals that has a nuclear magnetic resonance system, an optical interface assembly, and a catheter assembly with a fiber optic cable assembly and an optical interface and an antenna. The catheter assembly converts electromagnetic signals received by the antenna into optical signals. The optical interface assembly converts optical signals into electrical signals and electrical signals into optical signals.
