abstract A belt suitable in a brownstock washer machine and a method of producing the same are provide. The belt is produced from a high-density multi-layer woven fabric, which is preferably made using an eight-shed weave pattern. The fabric provides high fiber support via a high warp-density/long-warp-float while achieving high drainage/resistance-to-sealing through increased void volume.
