abstract | The present invention provides for novel methods for measuring the levels of cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) produced by cells. Notably, the methods provided do not require that the cell membranes be disrupted. Specifically, the present invention provides for a methods of detecting and quantifying cAMP extracellularly and for kits useful in employing these methods. Furthermore the present invention also provides for a method of isolating cAMP produced by cell culture. |
