An ethylene-aromatic vinyl compound copolymer characterized by satisfying the following conditions:(1) the aromatic vinyl compound content is from 0.5 mol % to 10 mol %;(2) as measured with respect to a molded product having a thickness of 0.2 mm, the haze is at most 14%, or the total light transmittance is at least 90%;(3) an ethylene-aromatic vinyl compound copolymer characterized in that the relation of the aromatic vinyl compound content and the glass transition point (Tg) obtained by an inflection point method as observed at a temperature of at least -50° C. by a differential scanning calorimeter (DSC), satisfies the following formula (1): wherein St represents the aromatic vinyl compound content (molar fraction %) in the copolymer; and(4) the weight average molecular weight is from 140,000 to 500,000 when the aromatic vinyl compound content is from 5 mol % to 10 mol %, or from 60,000 to 500,000 when the content is from 0.5 mol % to less than 5 mol %. |
