abstract |
A polycarbonate composition comprising polycarbonate resins with different weight average molecular weights produces a synergy improving both energy and flow. This composition comprises: about 50 to about 96 pbw of a first polycarbonate resin having a Mw of about 14,000 to about 40,000; about 4 pbw to about 30 pbw of a second polycarbonate resin having a Mw of about 1,000 to about 10,000; and up to about 20 pbw of a third polycarbonate resin having a Mw of greater than about 23,000. This material can be used in numerous applications, including, for example, data storage media. |
