abstract An oil-in-water aqueous emulsion of a high-viscosity organo-polysiloxane compound, which is suitable as an adjuvant in a hair-care treatment toiletry preparation, is disclosed. The emulsifier ingredient in the aqueous emulsion is a combination of a fatty acid amidoamine compound, e.g., dimethylaminopropyl stearamide, and an organic acid, e.g., lactic acid and amino acids, jointly forming a water-soluble fatty acid amidoamine salt compound having surface activity further in combination with a polyoxyalkylene-modified organopolysiloxane as a surface activity promoter.
