abstract A method of dose mapping that simulates actual product irradiation conditions utilizing a semisolid to fix dosimeter (18) inside product containers (14) and a dry ice substitute (16) to mimic the density of dry ice. The method comprising the steps of fixing dosimeter (18) in a semisolid mixture inside product containers (14) packed with a dry ice substitute (16) and irradiating. The results are then calculated and analyzed to produce an accurate dose map.
