An artificial intraocular refractive correction lens is implanted into an eye that has a natural crystalline lens by steps of providing an artificial intraocular refractive correction lens and inserting the artificial intraocular refractive correction lens into a posterior chamber of the eye to a position anterior to and in a vicinity of the natural crystalline lens to provide a spacing between the artificial intraocular refractive correction lens and the natural crystalline lens. The implanted intraocular refractive correction lens has a shape that is predetermined with respect to a shape of the natural crystalline lens so as to form the spacing. |
