This composition contains solubilized retinol in an organic solution which is liquid at ambient temperature and which is chosen from the group comprising: i) aliphatic fatty alcohols having a branched chain at C16-C20, ii) saturated alcoxylated fatty alcohols having a straight or branched chain at C16-C20, iii) the diesters of dicarboxylic esters at C6-C14 and of isopropyl alcohol, and mixtures of these solvents. This composition is intended for the treatment of skin disorders, and of acne in particular.
