abstract A method of naturally removing or inhibiting pollutants is described. Tree stems from trees having preformed root initials and a perennial root system are planted adjacent to or intersecting near surface ground water supply, at the area where water is to be decontaminated or at the source of pollution. The stems are planted densely to achieve maximum pollution control and environmental affects. Row planting is used and the crop harvested on a rotating basis.
