abstract Improved anti-corrosion coating systems for use in treating downhole metal surfaces in oil and gas wells are provided which include an epoxy resin together with a curing agent such as ethoxylated tallow diamine. The resin and curing agent are dispersed in an aromatic hydrocarbon dispersant, and are injected together or separately into a production well in order to form a corrosion-resistant film on downhole metal surfaces. The coating systems are resistant to freezing and provide relatively long term corrosion protection.
