Date Jan. 30, 1997A process for the improvement of adhesion between fluoropolymers or fluorocopolymers and inorganic compounds as well as composites made by this process are disclosed. The inorganic compound is coated with an adhesion promoter. Contacting the adhesion-promoted inorganic compound with the fluoropolymer or fluorcopolymer and heating develops the adhesive bond.
