abstract A package assembly for dispensing pharmaceutical medications comprises a plurality of individually sealed blisters and a relatively stiff frame having a plurality of apertures through which the blisters protrude. The blisters are made up of a plastic sheet having a medication receiving recess and a substantially planar shoulder portion. Sealed to this planar shoulder portion is a lidding sheet. The blisters each further comprise a ridge or other releasable interengagements that are engageable with the portion of the frame defining the apertures through which the blisters protrude.
