A plasmid vector designed for transforming lymphoblastoid cells, immortalized by Epstein Barr virus, for producing heterologous proteins, which comprises the bacterial DNA elements required for its amplification together with the following DNA fragments: the DNA elements which constitute an expression cassette allowing the insertion of a heterologous DNA to be expressed in the human lymphoblastoid cells, the Adenovirus 5 derived DNA sequence encoding the VA I and VA II RNA aimed at optimizing the messenger RNA translation, a gene engineered to be efficient as a selective marker in eukaryotic cells, and DNA segments selected for their property to promote plasmid DNA integration into the cell chromosome DNA. |
