An infection with Helicobacter may successfully be treated with a compound of the formula ##STR1## wherein R 1 is hydrogen or methyl and R 2 is hydrogen or L-alanine-L-alanyl, and the pharmaceutically acceptable acid additive salts thereof. These compounds are useful in the treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcers. |
