abstract Illuminating equipment with a light source and a liquid light guide, which is coupled optically to the light source and the liquid core of which contains a mixture of heavy and light water in a ratio by volume of 50:50 to 98:2, depending on the length of the light guide. The light guide transfers the visible range of the spectrum in a color-neutral manner. At the same time, the long-wave radiation, which causes unwanted heating effects, is suppressed.
