abstract A method of inhibiting proliferation of pancreatic tumors. The method involves contacting the pancreatic tumor with an effective amount of peptide YY or an analog of peptide YY. The method may be used either in vitro or in vivo to reduce tumor cell proliferation. The method is also effective in treating both benign and malignant tumors.
