abstract | A silver halide color photographic material having excellent color absorption characteristics and good yellow density is achieved by using a support having thereon at least one yellow coloring light-sensitive layer, at least one magenta coloring light-sensitive layer, and at least one cyan coloring light-sensitive layer, wherein the magenta coloring light-sensitive layer contains at least one dye-forming coupler represented by the following formula (M-I), at least one high boiling point organic solvent having a dielectric constant of 6.0 or less and a refractive index of 1.50 or less, and at least one benzotriazole ultraviolet absorber: <IMAGE> (M-I) wherein R1 represents a branched or aromatic group represented by the formulas (Q-1), (Q-2) or (Q-3); R2 and R3 each represents a substituent; n represents an integer of form 0 to 4, and when n is 2 or more, the plurality of R3 may be the same or different; and X represents a hydrogen atom or a group capable of being eliminated upon coupling reaction with an oxidized product of a developing agent. |
