titleOfInvention Method of reducing malodor using metal complex
abstract A method of reducing malodor in the environment by using a (1:1) dialkali monometal polyfunctional organic ligand chelate is disclosed. The 1:1 metal complex functions as an oxidation catalyst in the presence of oxygen to neutralize odor causing materials. The odor is chemically neutralized by the 1:1 metal complex, not just masked by a stronger scent.
