Process for producing microcapsules containing a diazonium salt compound and a photofixation thermal recording material employing the same |
abstract |
A process for producing microcapsules containing a diazonium salt compound, and a photofixation thermal recording material employing the same. The process comprises adding an organic solvent solution containing both the diazonium salt compound and a polyfunctional isocyanate compound to an aqueous solution of a water-soluble polymer, emulsifying the organic solvent solution into the aqueous solution using an emulsifying agent, and then polymerizing the polyfunctional isocyanate compound to form microcapsule walls, said emulsifying agent comprising an alkyl glucoside represented by formula (I):2 and R represents a linear or branched alkyl group having 4 to 18 carbon atoms. |
