abstract A compound selected from the group consisting of all stereoisomeric forms and mixtures thereof of a compound of the formula <IMAGE> I wherein Y and Z are individually selected from the groups consisting of hydrogen, halogen, -CF3, alkyl, alkoxy and alkylthio of 1 to 8 carbon atoms and aryl, aryloxy and arylthio of up to 14 carbon atoms optionally substituted with at least one member of the group consisting of halogen, hydroxy optionally esterified etherified, -CF3 and alkyl of 1 to 8 carbon atoms and R is alkyl of 1 to 8 carbon atoms or the remainder of a pyrethrinoid alcohol having excellent pesticidal properties and their preparation and intermediates.
