A blood collecting needle of the present invention comprises a hollow cannula, both ends of which are sharp tips, and a hub for supporting the center portion thereof. The hub comprises a sheath which surrounds the cannula in a liquid sealed state projecting from the back section of the hub, formed of an elastic body fixedly mounted on the hub, and an air passage connecting the space between the sheath and the cannula with outside air. n As a result, flashback can be reliably confirmed, for example, when the tip of the cannula pierces an intravenous vein. |
