Processing method for a silver halide photographic material |
abstract |
There is disclosed a method for rapidly processing a silver halide photographic material with an automatic processing machine for 20 to 60 seconds, the method being excellent fixability and drying characteristics. The fixing solution has: (a) a pH of 5.3 or more, (b) a sulfite ion concentration of 0.05 to 1.0 mole/liter, and (c) a content of an aluminium compound content of 0 to 0.01 mole/liter as a hardener. The coated amount of the gelatin contained in the protective layer provided on the side of the silver halide emulsion layers of the photographic material is 1.0 g/m2 or less. |
