titleOfInvention | Silver halide photographic material |
abstract | A silver halide photographic material comprises a silver halide emulsion layer provided on a support. In the photographic material of the present invention, the silver halide emulsion layer contains a compound represented by the formula (I): <IMAGE> (I) in which each of R1, R2 and R3 independently is a group of chain structure selected from an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, an alkynyl group and an alkylthio group, each of which may have one or more substituent groups; and the number of the carbon atoms contained in the compound represented by the formula (I) is 3 to 12. A process for sulfur sensitization of a silver halide emulsion using the compound represented by the formula (I) is also disclosed. |
