abstract A composition comprising polypropylene and a small amount of polyethylene can be shaped into an obliquely oriented film, and if obliquely oriented films shaped from this composition are laminated so that the molecular orientation directions cross one another, an obliquely oriented cross film having excellent heat resistance and mechanical strength is obtained. This cross film is suitably used as a base of a fastening tape for a paper diaper.
