titleOfInvention Phosphatidylserine derivatives
abstract A phosphatidylserine derivative represented by formulae (I), (II), and (III): <IMAGE> (I) <IMAGE> (II) <IMAGE> (III) wherein R represents a protective group which can be removed by an acid; and R' represents a straight chain or branched alkyl group having from 8 to 24 carbon atoms and may contain a substituent group, or may be unsaturated, provided that if an asymmetric carbon is present, the phosphatidylserine derivative is a racemic mixture or an optically active isomer thereof. Preferably, R represents a tertiary butoxycarbonyl group; R' represents a straight chain or branched alkyl group having 14, 16, or 18 carbon atoms; and the substituent is an alkylcarbonyl group, an alkoxycarbonyl group, a halogen atom, or an aryl group.
