abstract | A heat-sensitive recording material comprises a recording layer formed on a base sheet where the recording layer comprises a colorless or pale colored basic chromogenic material, a color developing material which develops a color by contacting with said chromogenic material, and a stabilizer. The recording layer comprises at least one selected from the group consisitng of 3-(N-methyl-N-cyclohexyl)amino-6-methyl-7-phenylaminofluoran, 3-diethylamino-6-methyl-7-phenylaminofluoran and 3-(N-ethyl-N-tetrahydrofurfuryl)amino-6-methyl-7-phenylaminofluoran together with 3-di(n-butyl)amino-6-methyl-7-phenylaminofluoran as the chromogenic material, and at least one selected from the group consisting of 1,1,3-tris(3-cyclohexyl-4-hydroxy-6-methylphenyl)butane, 1,1,3-tris(2-methyl-4-hydroxy-5-tert-butylphenyl)butane and 4,4'-cyclohexylidenediphenol as the stabilizer, so that a heat-sensitive recording material in which both of the brightness of the background area and the optical density of the recorded images are stably maintained under high temperature condition can be obtained. |
