An ion-conductive polymer electrolyte comprises an organic polymer and a soluble electrolyte salt. The organic polymer is obtained by crosslinking an organic compound having an average molecular weight of 1,000 to 20,000 and having a structure of the following formula 1; n n Z--(R.sup.1).sub.l --(R.sup.2 O).sub.m --Y].sub.k 1 n n in which n Z is a residue of a compound having at least one active hydrogen, n R 1 is represented by the following formula 2; ##STR1## wherein n is 0 or an integer of 1 to 25, R is an alkyl, alkenyl, aryl or alkylaryl group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms; n R 2 is an alkylene having not less than 2 carbon atoms, n Y is a hydrogen atom or a polymerizable functional group, n k is an integer of 1 to 12, n l is an integer of 1 to 230, n m is an integer of 1 to 300, and n l/(l+m)≧0.1. |
