abstract This invention relates to a zinc derivative of phenylacetic acid, a process for preparing this compound by reacting 2-(2,6-dichloroaniline) phenylacetic acid with zinc oxide, hydroxides, carbonates or salts, or a corresponding salt of the said acid is reacted with a zinc salt. The reaction takes place in a polar solvent. The new compound has antiulcer activity.
