Date Mar. 26, 1987.Taurolin compounds are used as blood coagulation-inhibiting agents and as abacterial inflammation-inhibiting agents. The outstanding coagulation-inhibiting action of taurolin is especially suitable for use in medical conditions requiring dialysis and for vascular protheses. These compounds can also be used together with other anti-coagulants such as coumarin or heparin.
