abstract Disclosed is a polymer-modified asphalt composition which comprises a mixture of (a) a blend of from about 10 to 75 weight-percent of one or more of a thermoplastic rubber polymer and from about 90 to 25 weight-percent of one or more of a fatty dialkyl amide, and (b) an asphalt cement. Also disclosed is a method of preparing such compositions, which requires gentle stirring only.
