A plant growth regulating composition comprising a member selected from the group consisting of 3,5-dioxo-4-propionylcyclohexane carboxylic acid and its esters and salts, represented by the formula: ##STR1## wherein R is a hydrogen atom, a lower alkyl group or a cation, and at least one compound selected from the group consisting of (2-chloroethyl) phosphonic acid, 1,1-dimethylpiperidinium chloride and 2-chloroethyltrimethylammonium chloride, as active ingredients, and an agricultural carrier or diluent. |
