abstract There are provided new compounds of the Formula I ##STR1## obtained by the condensation of 2,2,2-trimethyl-1,2-dihydroquinoline or salts thereof with an oxo derivative of the Formula R 1 R 2 CO--wherein n R 1 stands for optionally substituted C 1-4 alkyl and n R 2 stands for optionally substituted C 1-2 alkyl, n X stands for hydrogen or SO 3 M--wherein M stands for hydrogen, alkali or alkaline earth metal ion, n Y stands for hydrogen or acyl. The new compounds can be used as antioxidants, and particularly for increasing coccidiostatic effect.
