titleOfInvention | Image-forming method using silver halide and polymerizable compound with development inhibitor releaser |
abstract | An image-forming method employs a light-sensitive material comprising a support and a light-sensitive layer provided thereon which contains a silver halide, a reducing agent, an ethylenically unsaturated polymerizable compound and a specific development inhibitor precursor. The image-forming method comprises heat-developing the light-sensitive material after or simultaneously with imagewise exposure of the material so as to imagewise polymerize the polymerizable compound in the presence of a development inhibitor released from the precursor in the course of the heat development. The image-forming method may be also performed under such condition that a liquid such as water is contained in the light-sensitive layer of the light-sensitive material within the specific amount. |
