abstract The present invention provides an improved adhesive composition for wood gluing, comprising a formaldehyde condensation resin and a minor amount of a surface active agent. This invention further provides a method for manufacture of composite wood products comprising applying an adhesive composition, which includes a formaldehyde condensation resin and a small amount of a surface active agent, to the wood and curing the adhesive.
