A portable beverage dispenser (10) to be supported on the back of a vendor eg. at a football match, comprises an insulated tank (12) having an internal compartment (22) to receive the beverage. A dispensing hose assembly (18) extends from a side wall (142) of the tank (12) in fluid communication with the bottom of the compartment (22), and a hand operated pump (14) is arranged to introduce air into the top of the compartment (22) to pressurize the beverage. The handle (84) of the pump (14) is located adjacent the outlet end (118) of a cup dispenser (16) on a side wall (98,100) of the tank (12) so that the vendor can hold the dispensing hose (118) in one hand, and use the other hand to dispense cups (132) and to pressurize the compartment (22), as required. |
