A silver halide light-sensitive material comprising a support having thereon at least one silver halide emulsion layer, and containing a compound containing a repeating unit, said compound containing a repeating unit being connected at the repeating unit to a compound represented by formula (I) at the position of the PWR or Time moiety: PWR-Timet PUG (I) wherein PWR represents a moiety capable of releasing (Timet PUG upon reduction, and PUG represents a group which can fulfil a photographically useful function after the release; Time represents a moiety capable of releasing PUG through a reaction subsequent to the release from PWR in the form of -Timet PUG; and t represents 0 or 1. |
