abstract | Novel triorganostannyl derivatives of deoxynucleosides or deoxynucleotides of the general formula: <IMAGE> wherein R1 is an alkyl or aryl group, R2 is a protecting group, R3 is a protecting group, B is a base residue which may have a protecting group, and n is zero or a positive integer and their amine salts are provided. They are prepared by reacting a deoxynucleoside or deoxynucleotide with either a triorganotin amide or a triorgano(alkoxy)stannane and may be useful as intermediates for the preparation of oligodeoxynecleotides. |
