titleOfInvention Method of measuring concentration of substances
abstract A concentration of antigen substances contained in a sample is measured by detecting light scattered by latex particles coated with antibody substances which are specifically reactive with the antigen substances to be measured. The scattered light is received by a photodetector and an output signal of the photodetector is supplied to a fast Fourier transform unit to derive a power spectrum density of the scattered light. Then a white level of the power spectrum density is derived, and the concentration of the antigen substances in the sample is detected from the white level with the aid of a calibration curve representing a relationship between the concentration and the white level.
