abstract Spiro (4,5) decane compounds of the formula: <IMAGE> in which: X is methyl and Y is hydrogen or R'-CO- in which R' is C1-C4-alkyl or C1-C4-alkoxy, <IMAGE> X and Y together represent <IMAGE> in each of which A is hydrogen, methyl, carboxy, methoxycarbonyl or ethoxycarbonyl; R is C1-C7-alkyl optionally containing a double bond; Z is a C2-C7-polymethylene chain optionally carrying an OH group; R1 is hydrogen or methyl; and R2 is hydrogen, R'-CO- or benzyloxycarbonyl; and physiologically tolerable acid addition salts thereof. These compounds may be used therapeutically especially in the treatment of asthma, allergic phenomena and bronchopathies.
