abstract Compounds are provided of the following general structure: ##STR1## wherein R 1 , R 2 and R 3 are independently selected from hydrogen or methyl and A is amino, C 1 -C 4 monoalkylamino, C 2 -C 8 dialkylamino, cyclopropylamino, 1-pyrrolidinyl, 1-piperidinyl or 4-morpholinyl. They are useful for providing sedative and antiepileptic activity.
