abstract In a method for the wet grinding of explosive, a homogeneous suspension with a given ratio of water to explosive of e.g. 4:1 is produced in a vessel with an agitator. The level in the vessel (10) is adjusted as the suspension is being supplied to the mill in such a way that it does fall below the level of the blades of the agitator.
