Date Dec. 5, 1985.A method of preparing an oxazolidone polymer which comprises reacting a vicinal polypoxide having a functionality of greater than 1 with an organic polyisocyanate or polyisothiocyanate, in the presence of a catalyst comprising an s-triazine compound or a derivative thereof, at a temperature beween 20 DEG C. and 250 DEG C. The catalyst is preferably hexamethylene tetramine. |
