abstract A fluorine-containing elastomer composition comprising a fluorine-containing elastomer, at least one of oxides and hydroxides of divalent metal, a polyhydroxyaromatic compound, and a quaternary ammonium salt compound represented by the general formula: <IMAGE> (I) and, if desired, further containing at least one of 1,8-diazabicyclo(5,4,0)-undec-7-en, 1,5-diazabicyclo(4,3,0)-non-5-en and 4-dialkylaminopyridine has good storage stability and vulcanization characteristics as green elastomer composition and gives distinguished physical properties to the vulcanized products.
