abstract |
A creep prevention control device for an automatic transmission apparatus for a motor vehicle. The creep prevention control device has a mechanism for preventing creep caused by the automatic transmission apparatus and a mechanism for increasing the idling speed of an engine of the motor vehicle. These mechanisms are controlled on the basis of signals generated by sensors for detecting operating conditions of the motor vehicles and indicative of the detected operating conditions. The mechanism for increasing the engine idling speed is actuated when rendering the creep preventing mechanism inoperative so that the creep prevention can timely be controlled and the engine can idle in an optimum condition at all times. |
