Process for silylating an organic or an organosilicon compound having at least one hydroxyl group bonded to carbon or to silicon, wherein the compound is contacted with both (i) a bis-triorganosilyl(alkylenediamine) and (ii) a triorganohalosilane. The process can be employed for the silylation of intermediates in the production of pharmaceuticals. |
