abstract A predetermined quantity of the fluid to be analyzed is made to pass through magnetized filtering packing, and the content of the solid fraction is measured after the exit of the fluid from the packing, before its re-entry into it. Recirculation is continued until a permanent, unvarying residual content of the solid phase in the fluid is attained. The fluid subjected to the recirculation is periodically acted upon by an alternating magnetic field, outside the packing.
